Media: the ADG of the Gabonese Press Agency visits the provincial structure of Mouila – AGP

Mouila (south), December 6, 2023 (AGP) – As part of the visit to the provincial offices of the Gabonese Press Agency (AGP), started a few days ago by the new Managing Director of this entity, Ghislain Ruffin Etoughet Nzuet, it was a question, after the provinces of Woleu-Ntem and Nyanga, of absorbing the working conditions at the level of the provincial office of Ngounié, which covers nine departments (09) and three (03) districts .

Accompanied by the head of the provincial department, Ariane Nadia Mpenga, the head of the financial department, Loïc Immongault Babala, and another direct collaborator, the ADG of the Gabonese Press Agency, went to present, from the outset, his pleasantries, to the local authorities, headed by the provincial governor, Paulette Mengue M’Owono.

During the various discussions, the opportunity was given to the boss of the AGP to reveal the structure to the local authorities, in particular its status and its sovereign missions. Explanations which allowed local officials, including the central mayor, Richard Désiré Mamouaka Mombo, to adopt a new outlook towards the AGP media. Thus, like several other national press agencies, the first news goes to the AGP.

Following an upstream working session with the local manager, Nancy Tali Ibinda, the visit to the Ngounié desk of the Gabonese Press Agency (AGP) allowed the Managing Director to assess the needs for better performance and improvement of the working environment. After having visited the owner, the latter wanted to be reassuring.

”I receive reports, but it is the terrain which dictates the means. It therefore seemed important to me to come to the field to visit the seven (07) offices that we have. I just visited the Ngounié provincial office, I saw what there is, there are not only shortcomings, there are also things that exist. It therefore remains to improve the existing and to equip where it is necessary to equip, to take what needs to be taken,” indicated Ghislain Ruffin Etoughet Nzuet, at the end of the visit to the structure.

The latter also wanted to encourage the head of the office for the efforts made within the framework of his sovereign missions.

The local manager, Nancy Tali Ibinda, in turn, did not fail to thank the Managing Director of the AGP as well as his delegation for this hopeful initiative.
