According to media reports, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently clubless, will be able to train at his former club Real Madrid following Portugal’s elimination from the World Cup.
The 37-year-old was at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training center in the north-east of the Spanish capital to keep fit, online newspaper ‘Relevo’ and sports newspaper ‘Marca’ reported. No official confirmation from the club or Ronaldo himself.
“Marca” stressed that it was a favor from Real Madrid. There is no chance that Ronaldo will return to Real. He was under contract with Los Blancos from 2009 to 2018. The striker has been looking for a new employer since he parted ways with his previous club Manchester United at the start of the World Cup. (dpa)
