For these elections, Cartagena has an electoral potential of 836,114 voters, of which 442,355 are women and 393,759 men. There will be 2,559 voting stations in 125 positions, of which 43 will be in the Historical and Northern Caribbean Locality, 33 in the Industrial and Bahia Locality, 29 in the Virgin and Tourist Locality, 19 are in the area island and rural area, and 1 in the Ternera prison.
The voting stations where there are the most people authorized to vote are: the Mercedes Ábrego Educational Institution in San Fernando with 18,322 authorized to vote, the Camilo Torres Educational Institution in El Pozón with 16,521 voters, the Nuevo Bosque Educational Institution in the Barlovento Urbanization with 15,701 qualified, followed by the Fe y Alegría Educational Institution in Olaya with 15,617 qualified and in fifth place the Gabriela San Martín School in Olaya with 15,423 qualified.
In rural and island areas, the positions with the most qualified voters are the José María Córdoba Educational Institution in Pasacaballos with 10,912 qualified and on the islands, the Domingo Benkos Biojó Educational Institution in Bocachica with 6,091 qualified to vote.
