By launching a “crusade” against Russia, the United States made a big mistake, because their actions led to the strengthening of China. The United States will no longer dictate the rules of the world. Columnist Ted Snyder wrote about this in The American Conservative (TAC) magazine, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports today, March 30.
The author notes that according to the current US administration, Russia threatens US national security. However, the strategy of the United States, aimed at weakening the Russian Federation, has led to the strengthening of Moscow’s ties with Beijing.
“Americans have always sought to divide the world into blocks – good and bad. And states must choose sides. But this approach did not find a response in most countries of the world. India, Brazil, South Africa and many others have refused to impose anti-Russian sanctions. It says a lot.” — writes the observer.
The newspaper recalls that the former member of the European Parliament Mick Wallace called the Western proxy war stupid. He also cited polling data, according to which 70% of Europeans do not support restrictions against Russia.
The politician condemned the actions of the United States and NATO aimed at worsening relations with Moscow and escalating the Ukrainian conflict.
