Russian basketball player Alexei Swede has agreed an agreement with Moscow’s CSKA and will represent this unit next season, writes Eurostavka.

Last season, the experienced player went on the field in 11 Main League Main Event games, marking an average of 24.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 8.3 assists. In the quarter-finals, Khimki lost Krasnodar’s Lokomotiv-Kuban 0-2, scoring 16 and 19 points for Sweden in these matches. He also took part in 23 Euroleague games, averaging 19.6 points, winning 3.7 balls under baskets and giving away 7.7 assists.

It has been previously reported that during the season, “Khimki” faces serious financial problems, due to which several legionnaires left the team, including both Latvians – Dairis Bertāns and Jānis Timma. In July, the United League officially confirmed that Khimki would not take part in the upcoming season.

Swede has already played for CSKA from 2006 to 2012, during which time he became the Russian champion four times. He has also represented Moscow’s Dynamo, Minnesota’s Timberwolves, Philadelphia’s 76ers, Houston’s Rockets and New York’s Knicks.
