Unknown persons broke into a mobile home in a parking lot on Lingnerallee and stole a debit card from inside. Final damage reports are not yet available. (ml)

Stolen scooter found again

Location: Dresden-Loschwitz

Yesterday morning, a stolen scooter was found on Fidelio-F.-Finke-Straße. Unknown persons had stolen the two-wheeler a few days earlier from an underground car park on Pillnitzer Landstraße. The police are investigating. (ml)

Swastika graffiti

Unknown persons have sprayed a nearly two-meter-high swastika onto a railway embankment beneath the Meißner Landstrasse. No damage reports are available yet. State security is investigating the use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations. (ml)

Accident at intersection

A man (29) suffered minor injuries in an accident on the S 87.

The 29-year-old was driving an Opel Combo on Klötzerstrasse. At the Rudolf-Breitscheid-Strasse intersection, he collided with an Audi A1 (driver 51) that was driving from Friedrich-Engels-Strasse towards Rudolf-Breitscheid-Strasse. The 29-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The material damage is estimated at around 8,000 euros. (kj)

Garbage cans set on fire

Unknown persons set fire to a paper container on Dresdner Straße.

The fire spread to a glass container, a paper bin and a used clothing container. The street was also damaged by the melted plastic. The total damage is estimated at around 500 euros. The police are investigating for property damage. (kj)

Telephone cable damaged

On the Alter Pausitzer Weg a tractor trailer (driver 62) damaged a telephone cable.

The 62-year-old was travelling from Leipziger Strasse towards Am Hang. When the man turned right into a field, the tractor’s trailer got caught on the cable laid above ground, which was cut in the process. The material damage is estimated at around 200 euros. (kj)

Window broken

Location: Gröditz

Unknown persons smashed a window in a shop on Marktstrasse. The perpetrators then unlocked the window, but apparently did not open it. The material damage is estimated at around 200 euros. (kj)

Drunk driving stopped

Location: Großenhain

Police officers from the Großenhain police station checked a bicycle (driver 37) on Elsterwerdaer Straße and found that the 37-year-old was under the influence of alcohol.

The two-wheeler driver caught the attention of the officers because there were no lights on the bike. During the check, the police noticed the smell of alcohol on the 37-year-old German. A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of around 2.6 per mille. The officers ordered a blood sample and filed a report for drunk driving. (kj)

E-scooter driven without insurance

Police officers from the Pirna police station checked an e-scooter (driver 77) on Äußere Pillnitzer Straße on Saturday morning and found that the two-wheeler was not insured. The officers prohibited the further journey and filed a report against the German for a violation of the Compulsory Insurance Act. (kj)

E-bike stolen

Location: Bad Schandau, OT Waltersdorf

Unknown persons stole an e-bike on Kaiserstrasse. The bike, which cost around 3,700 euros, was locked under a shelter. The perpetrators cut the lock to steal the bike. (kj)

Lost dog returned

Location: Stolpen, OT Rennersdorf-Neudörfel

Police officers from the Sebnitz police station returned a lost dog to its owner on Saturday evening.

Passers-by reported to the police that they had picked up a dog that had been walking alone on Alte Hauptstraße. The officers took the mixed-breed dog into custody. With the help of a chip reader, the owner was located and the dog was handed over. (kj)
