During the weekend presence operations in Dresden Neustadt, the police filed a total of 21 complaints. After the criminal offenses, investigations were launched against 13 suspects.
A Libyan (27) is being investigated for dangerous personal injury.
The 27-year-old tried to hit a man (34) with a bottle on Saturday night in Görlitzer Straße. The 34-year-old was unharmed.
Two men (34 and 39) are under investigation for violating, among other things, the drug law. According to a witness, small amounts of narcotics and cash were found on men from Slovenia and Ukraine on Saturday evening in Alaunstrasse.
On Sunday night a man (19 years old) was found who had hit and injured an 18 year old in Alaunstrasse. The 19-year-old Syrian also threatened a 19-year-old who wanted to intervene with a knife. The Syrian man is under investigation for assault, among other things. A breath alcohol test showed him 0.6 per thousand.
A total of 73 police officers were traveling in the two operations in Dresden Neustadt. The Dresden police headquarters were supported by the Saxon riot police. (rr)
Alleged bicycle thief arrested

Dresden police arrested a suspected bicycle thief on Monday night (36).
Witnesses saw the 36-year-old steal a bicycle from a courtyard on Voglerstrasse. When a man (34) told him about it, he threw the bike at his feet and hit him. The 34-year-old was injured. He was able to detain the 36-year-old until alarmed police arrived. This results among other things due to the theft of bicycles and personal injury to the German. The bike was worth around 500 euros. (uh)
Two suspects arrested after the theft

After a theft from a corporate site on Werfstrasse, police arrested two suspects early Monday morning.
The woman (27) and the man (37) entered the premises and stole electrical equipment from the containers. A witness saw the incident and informed the police. The two Germans are under investigation for theft. (rr)
Police stopped the drunk driver after he fell on the street

Dresden police officers arrested a man (45) who was driving under the influence of alcohol. As it later turned out, the 45-year-old had previously caused an accident.
Officers stopped a Citroen C4 on Hansastrasse near Lößnitzstrasse. A BAC test on the pilot showed a value greater than one per thousand. The car had new signs of an accident. The 45-year-old had already driven the Citroen on Grossenhainer Straße in the direction of Antonstraße and crashed into a construction site barrier. Then he turned around and wanted to drive out of town through Hansastrasse.
The officials had the German draw blood, secured his driver’s license, and made the appropriate announcements. The damage to the property was quantified at around 3,500 euros. (uh)
The 21-year-old crashed into a light pole

The BMW driver (21) left Dohnaer Straße on Saturday evening and hit a light pole.
The 21-year-old was traveling to the city center on Dohnaer Strasse when, for unknown reasons, he left the carriageway on a right-hand bend near Spitzwegstrasse. BMW hit a light pole, slightly injuring the 21-year-old. Property damage for approximately € 10,000. (uh)
About 4,000 euros worth of cables stolen

Over the weekend, strangers stole copper cables worth around € 4,000 from a construction site on Heinrich-Mann-Strasse. To reach the site, the authors had leveraged a fence under construction. The damage to the property is around 1,000 euros. (rr)

The 18-year-old urinated in front of police officers

Police showed their presence in the Meissen skate park area over the weekend. He is investigating an 18-year-old German for resistance to law enforcement, among other things.
Officers noticed the 18-year-old urinating against the wall of a house around 9:00 pm. When they wanted to report the crime, he insulted the police officers. He tried to resist an identity check and kicked one of the officers. There were no injuries. As a test showed, the 18-year-old was under the influence of alcohol with an alcohol content of 2 per thousand.

The Toyota driver hit the tree

The man was driving a Toyota Proace towards Weistropp and left the road for an unknown reason. He walked into a field and hit the tree with the Toyota. The 44-year-old sustained minor injuries. The damage to the property is around 50,000 euros. (uh)

Strangers have stolen a bicycle from the forecourt of the Cottbus train station. The mountain bike was attached to a bicycle rack and was worth around 1,000 euros. The police are investigating. (uh)

Woman lightly injured in accident – 10,000 euros in property damage

A motorist (56) was slightly injured in an accident on Sunday night.
The 56-year-old was driving an Audi on Altenberger Straße in the direction of Mühlbach when she lost control of the car shortly after leaving Weesenstein and overturned. The police are investigating the causes of the accident. The damage to the property is around 10,000 euros. (rr)
Slightly injured child in an accident

On Sunday evening the police stopped a driver (34) who was driving under the influence of alcohol.
