The Dresden police are currently investigating a German (42) for robbery.
According to previous investigations, the 42-year-old hit a man (43) in his apartment on Herzberger Straße. He also destroyed the 43-year-old’s cell phone and also tried to rob a television. Alerted police officers were able to place the suspect on the spot. An alcohol test on the 42-year-old showed a value of around 1.2 per mille. It also turned out that there were four arrest warrants against him. The German was arrested.
Robbery theft – suspect found

A 29-year-old Algerian is currently being investigated for robbery.
The man is suspected of having stolen perfume worth around 220 euros from a shop on Webergasse on Friday. He also hit a store detective who had spoken to him about the theft. Alarmed police officers arrested the suspect. Upon inspection, it turned out that an arrest warrant had been issued against him.

The police are investigating a German (20) and a Czech (50) for property damage.
The couple is suspected of having sprayed red paint on the window front of an energy company on Fritz-Löffler-Strasse. The lettering, about 1.5 meters tall, had a climate reference.

Suspected car thief caught

On Saturday, police officers checked a Citroen at the Dresdner Tor service area. The driver of the car was a 17-year-old Frenchman. He did not have a driver’s license and had apparently tampered with the vehicle’s electrical system to drive the car without a key. In the course of the investigation, it turned out that the Citroen had been stolen in France. The 17-year-old suspect has been arrested.
Burglary in a family home

Unknown persons broke into a single-family house on Sachsenstrasse. The perpetrators forcibly opened a window and entered the room. They then searched the furniture. It is not yet known if anything was stolen. Information on property damage is not yet available.

Driver fatally injured

Location: Lohmen
The driver (18) of a VW Golf was on Basteistrasse between Rathewalde and Lohmen. He went off the road to the left and crashed into a tree. The driver suffered serious injuries and died at the scene of the accident. According to initial investigations, suicidal behavior is imminent.
