Libreville, October 21, 2023 (AGP) – The new Managing Director of the Gabonese Press Agency (AGP), appointed in the council of ministers, this Thursday, October 19, 2023, Ghislain Ruffin Etoughet is a pure product of the world of communication.
Nick’s replacement, Jocelyn Fouba, was trained at the Lille School of Journalism in France, considered the largest in Europe. After Lille, he went to Rennes where he will do a DEA in information and communication sciences and a DESS in political communication.
Back in Gabon, Ghislain Ruffin Etoughet worked at the pan-African radio station Africa n°1 in the early 1990s, which he left after a few years to join ministerial cabinets as an advisor in charge of communications, notably at the Prime Minister’s Office. Dr. Paulin Obame Nguéma. Then, he was appointed advisor in charge of press and information at the High Representative Embassy of Gabon in France where he spent ten (10) years. He took the opportunity to re-enroll in a French university, and obtained a DESS in public administration.
His biography also indicates that he served in the cabinet of Casimir Oyé Mba at the Ministry of Planning as diplomatic advisor and in the cabinet of Gabriel Tchango at the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock as advisor in charge of communication and relations with the companies under supervision. He also served at the Ministry of Communication as a services inspector under Blaise Louembet.
The new ADG of the AGP has another string to his bow, “ he is a temporary teacher in the Info-Com sector in several private higher education schools.
