The free daily “20 minutes” and “Cooperation” are launching this Friday a joint magazine entitled “Cooperation week-end”. Produced in three languages and comprising sixteen pages, it will be inserted in the middle of “20 minutes” / “20 Minuten” / “20 minuti” and will primarily target a young audience.
The new publication will feature hot topics and trending ideas, the two partners, Coop and “20 minutes” (TX Group) said in a statement Tuesday. The sale of advertisements will be paid for by Coop. The new title will be produced by a new team made up of journalists from the German, Italian and French editorial staff of Coopération magazine.
Coopération is the most widely read weekly in Switzerland with around 3.2 million readers (REMP figures), while “20 minutes” has the country’s largest readership of the daily press (1.7 million readers), again notes the press release.
