Cologne (dpa) – Karl Lauterbach (58) proves the ability to self-irony: In a video with comedian Carolin Kebekus, he plays himself as an eternal reminder who warns of being too careless in the coming summer. He writes on Twitter: “If you want to have fun at my expense: here I am spoiling the game for @carolinkebekus – comments welcome”.

In the video “La Vida sin Corona”, Kebekus sings about “Sun, Beach, Summer Happiness – Life Comes Back” and shows himself in all sorts of summer scenes with a pre-pandemic lack of distance. Lauterbach, however, repeatedly grabs the comedian with warnings in between. For example, Kebekus sings: “We’re going steeply – finally virus-free”, Lauterbach adds: “… but only with FFP2, better FFP3.” In the end, the health expert and SPD politician announced: “The summer will be good – but with restrictions!” The video comes from the new season of the “Carolin Kebekus Show” on ARD.
