1. FC Köln is apparently considering bringing Kaan Ayhan back into the Bundesliga. The professional is a Turkish international and comes from Gelsenkirchen.

According to information from Cologne City Gazette the Turkish national player is the alternative for the planned commitment of a defender.
In the case of the preferred candidate Julian Chabot (23), the negotiations with his club Sampdoria Genoa are probably hooked.
Born in Gelsenkirchen, Ayhan (27) played in the Bundesliga for FC Schalke 04, Eintracht Frankfurt and Fortuna Düsseldorf and switched to Sassuolo Calcio in the Italian Serie A in the summer of 2020.
