Medal table has China as the leader and the United States second | News

After the closing of the Sunday session of the Tokyo 2020 Games, the Chinese representation remains the leader of the medal table after adding 51 medals (24 gold, 14 silver and 23 bronzes), followed by the United States with 59 medals (20 gold, 23 silver and 16 bronzes) and Japan 31 (17 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronzes).

On the side of the South Americans, Brazil is eighteenth with 2 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals. Ecuador climbed positions by achieving its second gold this Sunday, making it twenty-first.

Venezuela is in 26th place thanks to the gold it won today in the women’s triple jump, it also has 3 silver medals.

Colombia is in 54th place with two silver and one bronze medals, while Argentina is in 72nd place with one bronze.
