Deutsche Bahn’s new winter timetable also brings changes to the ICE connection from Stralsund (Western Pomerania-Rügen district): from mid-December, the train will depart three quarters of an hour later on weekdays (then at 8:04 a.m.) and will make the usual stops Greifswald, Pasewalk, Prenzlau and Angermünde to Berlin (at 10:56 a.m.). Then we continue to Halle (12:13 p.m.), Erfurt, without having to change trains, and the ICE then reaches Frankfurt am Main at 2:56 p.m. According to Deutsche Bahn, the new timetable can be booked from October 16th and is valid from December 15th. Until then, tickets for next year can still be purchased at the current prices, it is said. With the timetable change, the railway is raising ticket prices.
