KOMPAS.com – A meatball seller who claimed to be from Bandung, West Java, fell from his motorbike at Perum Asabri, Argomulyo District, Kota Salatiga, Central Java.
However, according to investigations, the fall of the meatball seller was suspected to be just pretending or just acting.
According to a resident, Suprapto, the man’s actions were recorded in closed circuit television (CCTV).
In the video, the person falls on purpose.

The meatballs that were lying on the road were actually placed in a bucket, not in a cooking pot as usual. The bucket is placed on top of the rombong.
When he fell, the meatball seller seemed to justify the position of the bucket. This is supposed to show a more dramatic visual.
“The only thing that fell were the meatballs in the bucket and a little water, the pot seemed empty because no sauce was spilled. So, this is indeed the intention to deceive,” said Suprapto, Thursday (3/1/2022).

In the video, a meatball vendor on a motorbike can be seen crossing a village road.
When he arrived at a corner, the man seemed to pay attention to the surroundings.
He then slowed down the speed of the motorbike and immediately dropped the motorbike and his body.
The merchant in the brown jacket who fell on his back also turned the bucket containing the meatballs that also fell.

The chronology of the meatball trader pretends to fall
Suprapto said the incident occurred on Wednesday (2/2/2022) at 10.28 WIB.
When the meatball seller carried out his action, the housing conditions were indeed quiet.
However, suddenly, there was a cry for help. Some residents left the house. There, residents saw a meatball seller fell.
“It was seen that there was a meatball seller riding a motorbike, with the rombong that was to transport it falling. Spontaneously, residents helped and pulled over to the mosque terrace,” he said.

Suprapto then called a tire repairman to repair the person’s motorbike.
“When I saw the motorcycle, the tire was flat. I also called a tire repairman to fix it,” he said.
The merchant was then checked by a nurse whose house is near the complex.
“When checked, his condition is fine. No one was injured,” he said.

The meatball seller was screaming as if he was sad and thinking about the goods he was selling.
“He said he had to make a deposit to his boss of Rp. 300,000, but because the merchandise fell, he admitted he was confused. The direction of the conversation was asking for money from the residents, he hoped that someone would feel sorry and then help with the deposit money,” explained Suprapto.
Because it seemed like they were urgently asking for money, not to mention that the motorcycle tires had been repaired, the residents then left the person.

“He then just left, moreover the residents also have to work so that no one pays further attention to him,” he said.
In the afternoon, residents who saw the CCTV were shocked because the meatball seller was only acting.
“The residents’ intention was only to help, the acting incident was discovered after residents saw the CCTV installed near the mosque,” he explained.
