For this reason, a call for tenders has been published on the website of the Procurement Monitoring Bureau (PMB) for the development of the technical design and construction works for the marinade shop and finished product assembly premises. In addition, the company has also announced an open tender for the supply of technological equipment required to ensure the meat processing production process. It is planned to attract European Union (EU) funding to the Rural Support Service for the implementation of investment projects and to implement them by the end of 2017. He did not disclose the amount of investments planned for the implementation of the project.

According to Immermanis, the purpose of investments is in the development of production processes, increase of production capacity and introduction of new products. “The company participates in exhibitions abroad to attract new customers and develop sales in new markets,” explained the company’s chairman.

Aigars Jankūns, a member of the board of the meat processing company Nākotne, explained that during the procurement tender “Development of the technical design of the marinating shop and finished product assembly premises and execution of construction works” it is planned to build two outbuildings for production premises. “The project is related to marinating processes, but we will not build anything new and separate. We plan to expand production a bit, make production processes more efficient. We will not start any new directions, we will expand the existing premises,” said Jankūns.

Applicants can apply for the competitions until December 16 of this year.

As reported, the meat processing company Nākotne had a turnover of 19.353 million euros in 2015, which is 7.8% less than a year earlier, while the company’s profit decreased by 12.9% and amounted to 544,577 euros, according to Firmas. data addressbook.

“Meat processing company Nākotne” was founded in 2003 in Glūdas parish, Jelgava region with a share capital of 2.407 million euros. The company’s field of activity is full-cycle meat processing, from a high-capacity slaughterhouse to the delivery of finished products throughout Latvia. The owners of the company are Aleksis Jankūns and Gunta Jankūna with 60% and 40% capital shares, respectively.
