A photo of a German menu went viral on the anonymous Internet portal “Reddit”. There is a doner kebab Hawaii under the order number 161. His character is a doner kebab with poultry, pineapple and cream sauce. The fun costs 10 euros. But is this a tasty gimmick or a culinary crime?

The opinions of the “Reddit” users differ widely. “The 10 euros apparently already include the compensation for pain and suffering,” writes one. The other: “The aversion to pineapples as part of hearty dishes is a social media trend that should die out immediately.” “I won’t lie, I’d like to try it,” writes someone who probably likes the pineapple on the kebab. A user summarizes this dish under the name “Döner Colada”.
