This week the UK is scheduled to administer COVID-19 vaccinations to its citizens. However, many questions about vaccines remain unanswered.

While in Australia itself, the corona virus vaccination activity remains on its original schedule, which is next March.

Moreover, the pandemic situation in Australia last week recorded only one positive case of transmission in the community, namely a worker at a quarantine hotel in Sydney.

But the situation in the northern hemisphere is very different. The need for vaccination as quickly as possible is enormous.

In the UK, when the local government announced emergency approval for the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine, 16,170 people were diagnosed with COVID-19.

In the US on Thursday last week, it was recorded that more than 2,800 people died from the virus.

In fact, worldwide there were 453,000 cases of COVID-19 reported last week and 7,837 deaths on Tuesday alone.

Naturally, the worst-affected countries hoped for a vaccine as soon as possible to help bring those numbers down.

Questions have been raised with the coronavirus vaccine, including one that has received approval in the UK.

The most common question is, “why can’t we get a vaccine at this time?”
