Three Canadairs planes from the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), seven Civil Protection tankers and three intervention vehicles from the water and forest services and the fight against desertification were mobilized to overcome the fire that s’ is triggered in an area difficult to access, with climatic conditions marked by rising temperatures and recurring winds.

50 hectares gone up in smoke
In addition, hundreds of elements of civil protection, water and forests and the fight against desertification, FAR and national promotion were also mobilized to contain the flames, under the supervision of the prefectural authorities.
According to initial estimates, this fire devastated around 50 hectares of forest cover comprising mainly Aleppo pine, cork oak and secondary species.
