An employee at McDonald’s Kvadrat has been diagnosed with the coronavirus. McDonald’s is temporarily closed and employees and close contacts have been quarantined and tested.

– We go out with this information so that everyone who has visited the restaurant in the period Monday 13 – 19 December is encouraged to be extra attentive and have a low threshold to take a quick test for any symptoms, Kvadrat writes in a press release.
– McDonald’s has followed the guidelines that apply and has had good infection control routines, so we hope that this goes well. So far, no one else has been diagnosed with the infection, and we continue to have a high focus on infection control and safe trade, says center manager Renate Hjørnevik at Kvadrat.
The infection detection team in the municipality is now working to map the infection and if there are any questions, these can be directed to infection detection in Sandnes municipality.
