McDonald’s monopoly scandal: gross sticker fraud is filmed

The McDonald’s scam that the upcoming film is about went down in history books. The Business Insider, among other things, gave the details of the approach of the backers some time ago summarized: According to this, Jerry Jacobsen, a former police officer, took a job in a printing company that also works for McDonald’s in the 1980s. After just a few years, he is responsible for the production of the stickers that the fast food group uses for its Monopoly competition.-

First of all, Jacobsen is known as a strict boss who takes his job very seriously. Then, in 1989, the ex-policeman slipped his brother a $ 25,000 sticker. This act marks the beginning of a huge hoax that Jacobsen and a network of “employees” he has created for around ten years.

The former official repeatedly manages to put stickers on confidants to give them the winnings from the McDonald’s Monopoly raffle. Over the years, Jacobsen and his fraud ring become rich men, nobody, it seems, realizes what is actually going on.
