In 2016, McDonald’s stopped serving food in pita bread or tortillas. Then fans of these menu items lost perhaps their most favorite hot dogs.
However, the restaurant started serving them again, but only in one country in the world. This is South Korea.
In 2022, a “Happy Snack” item with a South Korean hot dog was added to the menu. It consists of bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and smoked bacon flavored sauce. All this is wrapped in pita bread.

Previously, in 2006, McDonald’s “Snack Wraps” menu offered diners fried or crispy breaded chicken, salad, sauces and shredded cheese. All ingredients were also wrapped in a flatbread.
Seven years later, these positions were removed. But very soon, McDonald’s shared their ambitions to bring back everyone’s favorite menu as part of the expansion of the McCrispy line. However, at that time the network was only in the development stage, so it was not clear when the product would be released.
So far, a hot dog from McDonald’s has not been introduced in Ukraine and it is unknown whether such a dish will appear on the menu.

Unfortunately, the hot dog was only available for a short time. On an international level (Japan, UK, USA…) the hot dog had already existed in previous years. It was therefore not an invention just for the German market. #mcdonalds #hotdog #foodtok #foodtiktok Blue Blood – Heinz Kiessling
