The fast food giant McDonald’s has announced that it is closing its 850 restaurants in Russia.
Thus, the American company joins the growing wave of world-famous companies that are withdrawing from the country after the invasion of Ukraine.
“We cannot ignore the unnecessary human suffering that is unfolding in Ukraine,” the company said in a statement.
“McDonald’s has decided to temporarily close all its restaurants in Russia and suspend all market operations,” AFP reported.
