McDonald’s announces that it has chosen the Label Rouge, which identifies products which, by their production or manufacturing conditions with a higher level of quality compared to other similar products, according to information from the Journal du Dimanche. These are the 37,000 tonnes of flour used for the manufacture of his breads which, in 2021, will be purchased from French cereals producers with the Red Label. But already, next September, a recipe will be launched with a bread made with this high quality flour.
McDonald’s will also buy Label Rouge eggs to make their Egg Muffins. Already in 2007, he had banned eggs from caged hens, and since 2015, had chosen to source eggs from hens raised in the open from Loué. It is this same cooperative that will provide him with the 40 million Label Rouge eggs he needs.
