McDonald’s employee shot in the face after arguing with a customer over fries in New York

A young employee of a McDonald’s restaurant in Brooklyn (NYC) was shot in the face outside the fast food establishment after arguing with a customer.

The 23-year-old was working at the fast food restaurant at 1531 Fulton St. in the neighborhood. Bed-Stuy, when he got into an argument with a female customer inside the restaurant yesterday around 7 pm, according to police sources.

Apparently the conflict started when the woman complained that her fries were cold, for which he complained to the employee, detailed Daily News. The fight escalated outside and the woman’s adult son pulled out a gun and shot the worker in the face, the NYPD said.

The unidentified victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition. Police detained a 20-year-old man at the scene. New York Post.

He was not the first fast food employee to suffer a violent attack on the job in NYC this year.
