McDavid also scores in his 500th game with the Oilers

Really happy with Connor Mc David he’s not talking about his 500th NHL game. Although the captain scored a marvelous goal in his anniversary game against the Washington Capitals on Monday at the Capital One Arena, the Edmonton Oilers were beaten 4-5.

When the score was 0: 2, the outstanding Edmonton striker closed the pass Leon Draisaitl with the goal in the 29th minute. Starting on the blue line, McDavid worked his way through the defense of the Capitals, playing around the Washington goalkeeper Charlie Lindgren (25 saves) and slid the puck to score.

He scored the second most points Patrick Kane with 633 (227 goals, 406 assists) in 543 games, the third Draisaitl with 632 (260 goals, 372 assists) in 534 games.

McDavid knew how to delight fans in his 500 games and everyone can look forward to his next 500 games.

After three straight losses, the Oilers are fourth in the Pacific Division with a 7-6-0 record and 14 points. They are eight points behind the best Vegas Golden Knights (11-2-0).
