He did so on the fifteenth ballot: on Saturday evening, the House of Representatives in Washington elected Republican Kevin McCarthy as the new president. However, former President Donald Trump’s friend still hasn’t solved his problems.

Kevin McCarthy loves figures of speech. So this week, during one of the many breaks in the United States Capitol, he said, “It’s not the beginning that matters. It’s how you finish something that matters.” His father made this joke to him while he was traveling.
