MBBank warns of fraud through solicitation of credit cards

The names of these accounts can be Nguyen Dang Tai, Tai Nguyen, Thao Linh, Kieu Quynh Nhu, Nguyen Hai Yen, My My, Ho Tra My, Thuy Chi, My Tien, Hoang Thai Linh, Linh Bong, Ho Ha My.

On social networks, these two subjects pretended to be collaborators of MBBank, asking people to send photos of CCCD cards and portraits to open cards at a cost of 500,000 to 1,000,000 VND and 5% of the card limit. Credit.

When people fall for the trick and transfer money, the person using the card information tries to transfer this deposit amount to their personal account.

To carry out this transaction, the scammer asks people to provide an OTP code. Once the OTP code is available, the scammer will complete the transaction to appropriate the money, then block all contact with the scammed person.

Therefore, MBBank recommends that people absolutely not provide card information or OTP codes to anyone, including bank staff.

MB itself does not have any processes or procedures requiring people to provide full card information including card number, expiration date, CVV security code, OTP code as scammers do.
