Kylian Mbappé is just part of the selection of Paris Saint-Germain when the club takes on the Champions League on Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund. The star player was sick but has recovered.
In French media, Mbappé, who missed the last training sessions, was linked to the corona virus. Reported Wednesday L’Équipe that the 21-year-old striker was tested as a precaution and that the outcome was negative.
Paris Saint-Germain has to win in its own stadium, where no public is welcome due to the COVID-19 virus, to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Dortmund won the first game with 2-1.
Incidentally, as a result of the corona virus, it was decided on Wednesday in France that the final of the Coupe de la Ligue, the second national cup tournament, be moved.
Cup final at a later time
PSG and Olympique Lyon would face each other in the Coupe de France on April 4, but that will not happen. It is not yet known when the match will be made up in Paris.
It was previously decided that all matches in France until 15 April may be played for a maximum of 1,000 supporters. Measures have also been taken in many other European countries.
