Paris –
Kylian Mbappe potentially leaving Paris St. Germain to join Real Madrid. Former Madrid player Geremi believes the move will not happen.
It’s no secret that the 23-year-old striker wants to play at Madrid. Mbappe even said his intention to the club last summer, although it was rejected.
Even so, there is a big chance for Mbappe to land at the Santiago Bernabeu. The reason is that until now Mbappe has not wanted to put his signature on the new agreement proposed by PSG, even though his contract will expire in June.
Former player Real Madrid Cameroonian Geremi thinks Kylian Mbappe won’t leave The Parisians because it already has a top-level squad. Following the arrival of the quintet Achraf Hakimi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, and the superstar Lionel Messi.
“According to my personal view, I don’t think it’s possible,” Geremi told Express Sport. “I remember Mbappe initially saying ‘my wish is to play with the top players in the world’. Now when you look at the Paris St. Germain squad, he has it there!”
“I don’t think he will move when he has all the best players in the world and goes to another big club. Because when you move from one club to another, it means starting another challenge.”
“He’s settled in, he’s one of the best players at Paris St. Germain. So I think he’s starting to become one of the leaders in the dressing room, one of the best players in the dressing room. I, myself, really wanted him to go to Real Madrid because I once played for Real Madrid.”
“However, as a player when I see how he will think, I think his move is unlikely. I think he will stay at Paris St. Germain,” Geremi concluded about a potential move. Mbappe ke Real Madrid.
