Mbappe and Griezmann can repeat Vava feat 60 years later in World Cup final | National newspaper

In the 92-year history, only four players have scored goals in two World Cup finals. First the elders. Forward Vavá was the only one to date to score goals in back-to-back finals: 58 and 62 – he could be matched by the French in the final against Argentina. Pelé also scored in 1958, but his other goal in the final was only in 1970. Then it was the turn of the German Breitner: a goal in the 1974 final and another in the decision in 1982. The last on the list is indeed a Frenchman : Zinedine Zidane, who scored twice in 1998 and once in 2006.
