This is good news for the Mission for the Development and Management of Industrial Zones (Magzi). Indeed, in a press release made public by Christol Georges Manon, managing director of this public capital company, Magzi benefited by decree of November 28, 2018, from the incorporation into its land holdings, of a plot of land of more of 204 hectares.
Said plot is located in the district of Mbankomo, department of Mefou-et-Afamba at a place called Nomayos II in the Center region. The press release from the general manager of Magzi specifies that the expropriated populations and those whose property and crops are implicated in the context of the development works of the said industrial zone, have been compensated up to 1,605,129,292 FCFA.
The same press release specifies that out of 1,629,898,817 FCFA provided for by expropriation decree, latecomers are expected in the competent services for the rest of the rights to be collected, the total amount of which amounts to the sum of 24,769,525 FCFA. ” On July 7, 2023, the closing date of the compensation operations, a period of thirty days was given to the expropriated persons to have to vacate the premises. continues the statement.
