Mazda Introduces Auto Parts Theft Insurance

All of us who have been victims of theft of a component of our vehicle while parked, we wonder, why the hell do I pay insurance, if when I need it it will not cover me?

The objective of having a comprehensive coverage insurance is to protect you and those who travel with you, as well as third parties in the event of an accident, both people and material, that is, your car. ¿Why only if it is stolen at gunpoint or completely disappeared, does the insurance protection apply, and not when some of its parts are removed?

This void, which at least from my perception is an abuse by insurance companies, also encourages the black market for auto parts. And it is that when someone suffers a minor mishap, and they are told that a lighthouse in the agency costs 50 thousand pesos, and the deductible for the repair costs 70 thousand, well, we already know what in many cases will end up happening.

And for the record, I don’t justify it at all we should never resort to the black market to replace a part of our vehicle, because we would precisely be promoting that crime of which we have just been a victim.

But that’s the way things are and if you want to have protection in the event of auto parts theft, you will have to buy separate insurance.
