Mazda is known for offering a lot of equipment, good driving characteristics and eventually also a rather resilient design.
But in recent years they have fallen a bit behind in the new car market. They took a while to get their first electric car out – the MX-30. It is now two years since the launch, but they still only have one fully electric car in their range.
As a result, they have been somewhat forgotten. But you can now make bargains on the second-hand market.
In BroomPodden, Broom’s car expert, Benny Christensen, Vegard Møller Johnsen and Mats Brustad will each find a Japanese car for a maximum of NOK 200,000. Two of them choose Mazda!

Old recipe for success
Broom-Benny has found a 2015 model Mazda 6 station wagon.
The car has a 175 horsepower diesel engine, four-wheel drive, automatic transmission and “all” equipment. A few years ago, there was a recipe for success in Norway.
But now the time for station wagons – and in any case diesel engines – is quickly running out.
Thus, one like this, which has just under 100,000 kilometers on the odometer, will be yours for around NOK 200,000.
Do you own such a car? Tell us about it here:
– Good to drive
Broom-Benny is surprised at how much car you get for the money.
– This is a good car to drive, lots of space, a good feeling of quality inside and good operational reliability. The only thing I would like to change about the particular car I found is the color. I would have the great Mazda red color. It is really nice.
Mats also chose a Mazda – while Vegard ended up with something completely different from his two colleagues… You can hear more about what they chose, and why, in the last episode of BroomPodden:
