Mayor Olivier Fabre used to tour neighborhoods and hamlets to answer questions from Mazametans and present the various projects.
But the health crisis has passed by there, and these public meetings can no longer take place in “face-to-face”. So to replace these meetings of neighborhoods and hamlets, the first magistrate and his municipal council had the idea of using social networks to maintain this exchange with the population.
This is how the first “Facebook live” was born in November 2020. After the success of this first edition, a new remote public meeting was organized on February 9th. The success was once again at the rendezvous with nearly 9,000 additional views compared to the first “Facebook live”.
Daily life, work, various projects: many themes were discussed during these discussions, fueled by the many
comments and questions asked live.
The operation will therefore be repeated. The next “Facebook live” will be held on Tuesday May 11 at 6.30 p.m. on the City’s Facebook page.
