Mayra Goñi lived an uncomfortable moment in ‘The Great Famous Chef’ because she did not know how to speak English, despite the fact that it is public knowledge that she has lived in the United States for several years.

The culinary reality show carried out ‘the British night’ and the actress along with Josi Martínez, Sirena Ortiz and Mariella Zanetti had to pronounce various elements in English. To everyone’s surprise, the protagonist of ‘Come, dance, quinceañera’ did not speak this language.
Seeing herself in serious trouble, Mayra Goñi explained behind the scenes why she does not know how to speak fluent English. “In Miami everyone speaks Spanish. When I have traveled I learned basic things in English”, the Peruvian actress justified.
The influencer also only managed to laugh at the situation since her colleagues believed that she knew this language because she had lived in Miami for several years. “It makes me laugh because my classmates think I know English,” she said with a laugh.
