The 10The KAPI of the Municipality of Ioannina, was visited today, Thursday, July 6, by the Mayor of Ioannina, Mr. Papageorgiou Dimitrios, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Works, Environment and Energy, Mr. Arleto Georgios, who were welcomed by the President of the N.P.D.D. “O.K.P.A.P.A.” of the Municipality of Ioannina, Mr. Panos Dimitrios, and the Director of Social Protection and Solidarity, Ms. Tziovara Sofia, in the context of the presentation of the second part of the action on the theme: “I get to know my city by walking – Ottoman buildings of the city”.
This action started in October 2022 at 10The KAPI Anatolis, in collaboration with the volunteer Ms. Manthou Chrysa, a retired teacher, and had a great response from the members of KAPI.
The Mayor thanked the members of the 10u KAPI, the employees of KAPI for their warm welcome and congratulated Ms. Manthou for the excellent organization of this action. He also stated that the concern of the Municipal Authority is to support the operation of the KAPIs because they perform a very important task for the people of the 3her of age, offering important services to their members and “OKPAPA” for its part, it contributes to the upgrading of their function in order to achieve healthy aging.
The President of “O.K.P.A.P.A.” for his part, he congratulated contributors and participants for this worthy action and stated that the purpose of “OKPAPA” is to continue this action in the other KAPI and informed about the actions that will be carried out in the next period.
