In a marathon day, under the management of Representative to the Chamber, Carlos Felipe Quintero10 elected mayors of the department of Cesar and the Governor Elvia Milena Sanjuánthey had a first meeting in the city of Bogotá with the Minister of Housing, Catalina Velasco and the Minister of the Interior, Luis Fernando Velasco.
According to the House representative, these meetings were to ask the National government greater presence in the department regarding the needs of the population in terms of basic sanitation, drinking water, housing and security.
“We set up these meetings with the Ministries of Housing and Interior to ask the Government that the projects and other institutional offers reach Cesar as soon as possible.“said Quintero.
In that sense, he specified that the meetings also had the purpose of the governor, Elvia Milena Sanjuan, and the elected mayors, having a first approach with the ministries and that this would contribute to greater articulation with the National government.
These meetings were attended by the mayors-elect, Fermín Cruz, of La Gloria; Leonardo Hernandez, The Dog of Iberian; Edgar Diaz, St. Albert; Hermes Martinez, Curuman; John Charles Araujo, Manaure; Fabio Valencia, Beach ; Katherine Mora, Gonzalez; George Patio, Bosconia; Arnoldo Osorio, Rio de Oro and Jose Carmelo Galeano of Chiriguana.
