“It is absolutely disgusting and outrageous the video of an Asian woman being attacked, a person full of hatred pushes her to the ground and kicks her cruelly,” says New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. De Blasio has condemned the attack and the “passivity” of a security guard who was nearby and did nothing to help the woman, and insists that this attitude is unacceptable.
