The mayor of the city of Krivoy Rog in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine, Konstantin Pavlov, was found dead, said the head of the region, Valentin Reznichenko.
“It is not clear yet, murder or suicide. An operational group of investigators has left for the scene, ”the Strana newspaper reports.
A police source told the media that Pavlov’s body was found on the veranda of his house. They also found a gun for us.
Pavlov became mayor in December 2020, he was a member of the Opposition Platform – For Life party.
“Konstantin Pavlov, Mayor of Kryvyi Rih from OLSZ, was found dead. A gunshot wound to the head. My condolences to family and friends, ”wrote the head of the party’s youth wing Artem Marchevsky on Facebook.
