The mayor of Guanarito, Valmore Betancourt, presented the balance of his management, corresponding to the year 2022, and attached to the current legal system, endorsed by article 88, numeral 18 of the Organic Law of Municipal Public Power.
Within the framework of the extraordinary session number 10 of the Municipal Council, the act was carried out in the meeting room of the town hall, with the presence of the local comptroller and the assistance of leaders from various sectors and special guests.
The municipal governor outlined the achievements during his first year in office, which he described as productive and profitable, given that -with the few resources he has managed-, he has led to significant changes that have resulted in a better quality of life for the inhabitants of this producing area in the south of the Portuguesa state.
“We have managed a modest, simple, and above all very honest management, despite the fact that a small group of people who still accept the current reality have unsuccessfully tried to muddy our work. No matter how hard they try, they will not be able to reduce our willingness and ability to do what others did not even try, given that they had all the resources to improve the conditions of a municipality that in the recent past was perhaps the most abandoned in this state. ”, emphasized Betancourt.
He stressed that he will continue to do everything in his power to continue promoting the changes that the population needs and appealed to the defining slogan of his management: “Guanarito is first.”
