“Mayor of Bandung Yana Mulyana’s Arrest and Wealth: What We Know So Far”

The name of the mayor of Bandung, It’s mulyana was widely discussed by the public after being arrested KPK over the alleged bribery case, last Friday (14/4). After the arrest, many parties became curious and kidnapped Yana Mulyana’s wealth.

Excerpted from the page ELHKPN KPK, Friday (7/4), Yana Mulyana last reported her assets on January 16, 2023. He is known to have assets of Rp. 8.55 billion without debt dependents.

Out of this total wealth, Yana mostly uses it for land and building purposes. Even though he only has one asset in this sector, his value is estimated at IDR 5 billion.

Then for private vehicles, Yana Mulyana seems to be a typical person who doesn’t like to collect lots of units in her garage. According to the same report, he ‘only’ owns one car and one motorbike.

Even though there are only two, the value is not exactly small. He has a 2019 Mitsubishi Sport Dakar which is said to be worth IDR 490 million. In addition, there is a 2013 Harley-Davidson Fatboy which is said to be worth IDR 350 million.

That’s a sign, he spent Rp. 890 million for private vehicle needs. Meanwhile other assets in the form of cash and cash equivalents are estimated to have a value of IDR 2.67 billion and other movable assets worth IDR 40 million.

It is known that Yana Mulyana was arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) along with a number of people close to her. The arrest was made allegedly related to the bribery case for the procurement of goods and services.

The Head of the KPK Reporting Unit, Ali Fikri, said that his party would first take the statements of the parties. After that, information regarding Yana Mulyana will be announced to the public.

“(The arrest of Yana Mulyana) is suspected of being related to bribery for the procurement of goods and services in the city of Bandung. We will immediately make inquiries of the parties arrested,” said Fikri.
