Mayor Halsema closes drug-filled house in West after large police discovery

The police made a large drug discovery last month in a house on Postjesweg in West. Officers found 28 kilos of amphetamine, 21 kilos of cocaine and 11 liters of GHB. The house was therefore closed by Mayor Halsema.

In addition, three kilos of 2-MMC and 1.07 kilos of ketamine were found. There were more drugs, but it is not yet clear what kind of drugs they are. That is being sorted out.

According to Halsema, keeping this house open poses a serious risk to public order and safety. There is an increased risk of criminal activities in and around the home, there was also 8,000 euros in cash and there are indications that drugs are being dealt. There was also a large amount of adulterant and packaging materials and vacuum machines.

According to the police, the house was occupied. The resident has not objected to the closure of the home to the municipality.
