Mayor Gwendolyn Rutten introduces her Aarschot administration team: “Better a narrow majority than one that runs around the street fighting for six years.”

We are not wasting any time and will continue to work with a team that is performing well. With these words, Aarschot mayor Gwendolyn Rutten introduced her new management team today. Rutten is also unconcerned about her narrow majority of almost 1 seat. She says that she would rather work with a narrow majority that hangs together than with a majority that would always cross the street fighting. What is new is that each elder will also have special authority over a sub-village, with a total of three new faces in the council with eight members.
