NEW YORK — Mayor Eric Adams is launching a new radio show called “Hear from the Mayor.”
The show on WBLS 107.5 FM will air on a semi-regular basis and feature the day’s news, along with special guests and call-ins from New Yorkers, according to a news release from the mayor’s office on Thursday.
The first episode is scheduled to air on Sunday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m.
The episodes of the radio show will be available after they are broadcast online.
“Every day, we’re ‘Doing Things’ for working-class New Yorkers, but many working-class New Yorkers are also doing amazing things to move our city forward; this show will highlight all of that and more as we hear directly from New Yorkers,” Mayor Adams said in a statement.
Anyone wishing to speak with the mayor of New York City can call 212-545-1075.
Adams’ switch to radio is not news to the town’s mayor. Many New Yorkers will remember Bill de Blasio’s weekly appearance on WNYC with Brian Lehrer.
