SAN JUAN DE SABINAS, COAHUILA. – At the beginning of the month of October considered as the month dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, the mayor of San Juan de Sabinas, Julio Iván Long Hernández, led this Friday the start of awareness actions, with the placement of bows in pink color, allusive to the prevention campaign.
During a tour that was carried out in the first instance by the different directions of the municipal presidency, the mayor, with the implicit message of the importance of health care, called the woman in the first instance so that she does not stop having her check-ups and detect any risk situation in a timely manner.
The tour was accompanied by the Regional coordinator of the DIF Coahuila system, Eng. Raúl Vara de Luna, as well as by the director of the DIF San Juan de Sabinas system, Professor Adalberto Gutiérrez Macías.
Also joining the tour was Margarita Rodríguez Covarrubias, councilor commissioned in vulnerable groups; as well as the majority union Esperanza Carabaza Ruíz.
With this type of action, explained the mayor, the municipality in coordination with the DIF system, which presides over San Juan de Sabinas, his wife Alejandra Flores de Long, joins the actions that seek the prevention, detection and timely care of cancer , mainly in women, recognizing that men are not exempt from this condition.
