The census personnel were deployed this Wednesday in the town of Villa Coya Pangal in the regional capital, in order to collect data on the homes and people residing in the area and in the 33 communes throughout the region.
René González Urtubia, regional director of the INE, indicated that they have implemented operational planning that has been fully carried out, and that in the five days of the uprising they have not had any type of rejection from the community.

Some 1,800 people are dedicated to working on this project, of which 1,200 are census takers, distributed in each of the communes throughout the O’Higgins region.
