She will first take the position of education officer for a limited period until June 1, 2026. From 2008 to 2014, she was head of the coordination office for advisory boards and representatives in the social affairs department before taking over as head of the social affairs department.

In this role, among other things, she launched the successful BasKIDhall project and took a leading role in its construction and financing. Within the administration, the graduate in administration (FH) was responsible for the restructuring of the social sector, which led to the introduction of social planning and adult support. She worked on strategic goals as well as various funding programs.

As an equal opportunities officer, she advocates that women and men are treated equally in the city administration. In her spare time, the 50-year-old from Bamberg is also involved in social activities at SI Bamberg Club Kunigunde, on the board of the theater club and at the Social City Support Association.
