Máynez does not regret visiting the UAM Xochimilco

Nezahualcóyotl, Mex. The presidential candidate of the Citizen Movement (MC), Jorge Álvarez Máynez, regretted the lack of information coverage of his electoral campaign and reproached the owners of the media whose agenda he said was clear, despite the fact that he is the only contender who It continues to grow and with activities.

This Friday during the beginning of the local electoral process, the Emecista standard bearer took oath to the MC candidates of the State of Mexico, in an event held on the sculptural and cultural promenade at the foot of the monumental structure Cabeza de Coyote.

In a brief interview, Álvarez Máynez was asked if he regretted having attended the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Xochimilco campus, where he was booed. And he responded, “Man, we did extraordinarily well! What is clear, well, is that the agenda of the media is increasingly clear, but I am happy.”

And he added that he has already visited 27 universities, two of which were yesterday, among them the Autonomous University of Morelos, which, by the way, was not covered in the media. “Some people sort of missed the mark,” referring to those who provide news coverage of his campaign.

“Are you going to UNAM? Is it still standing?” a reporter asked.

– I am in dialogue, there are fewer and fewer days of the campaign and we already have too many invitations, but I am going to continue going to the universities. On Monday I go to the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. I will continue-.

Máynez spoke briefly about the second debate that is coming, he said he was happy and ready for the meeting, because “we are the only campaign that continues to grow, that continues with activities.” Later, during his speech, he reiterated the statement that the Broad Front candidate for Mexico, Xóchitl Gálvez, suspended her public agenda.

The senator and leader of MC in the state of Mexico, Juan Zepeda Hernández, was in charge of welcoming the presidential candidate, to whom he promised that the greatest number of votes in the election on June 2 will come from the Mexican municipalities. .

Jorge Álvarez Máynez, visibly optimistic and always smiling, addressed his supporters to whom he promised justice by addressing the social deficiencies of poverty, education and employment, all of which he said, derived from the bad mobility policy. From the outset, he promised to transform the two main connectivity stations: Pantitlán and Indios Verdes.

“They don’t deserve to be in disadvantaged conditions, they don’t deserve to spend two, three or four hours on public transportation, they don’t deserve to spend a good part of their salary on transportation. They do not deserve to be deprived of better jobs, better schools, better development possibilities, simply and simply because of a bad mobility policy; Nor do hospitals, health centers, or schools deserve abandonment.”

He continued in this way, “we are the only campaign that can visit public universities, that can go and speak face to face with young people and will have a level of respect with invisible, abandoned people, the only one that turns its attention to trans people. and sexual diversity, with disabilities, the only one that belongs to all Mexicans and not to any interest group.”

The candidate’s event was delayed more than 45 minutes due to logistical issues with the sound equipment; However, once his followers were able to listen to him, he warned them that if he won the presidential election he would prevent this state territory from “going from being the property of the Atlacomulco group to now being the property of the Texcoco group.” The state of Mexico belongs to the people of Mexico and we are going to enforce it and we are going to work.”
