Acapulco, Gro. The candidate of the Citizen Movement party (MC) for the presidency of the Republic, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, committed in this port to be the president of children and youth.
In a meeting held at the Hipócrates University this Friday morning, Álvarez Máynez pointed out that of the 217 thousand schools in the country, 120 thousand are abandoned and 40 thousand do not have drinking water.
In the case of Guerrero, he warned that one in five young people between 18 and 22 years old are in university.
The MC candidate expressed that Mexico is a country with high levels of poverty, where the educational system is abandoned and the health sector is having problems.
He added that in the last 20 years a problem arose that did not exist: violence, insecurity and impunity.
In terms of security, Álvarez Máynez proposed the use of intelligence with technology and greater training for police officers.
Likewise, he demanded to investigate the financing of campaigns in the country.
He warned that he faces million-dollar campaigns.
Álvarez Máynez pointed out that “the way they come to power conditions them.”
He maintained that “by law, the campaigns began on March 1, and all anticipated acts are illegal; they are going to use power to continue violating the law.”
He also proposed increasing the monthly minimum wage to 10 thousand pesos.
He emphasized that his campaign will be one of respect, since it is the beginning of everything.
“Do not disqualify, I contrast and criticize, you will not see me give a nickname to an opponent or an adjective,” he mentioned.
It is expected that a little later, the MC standard bearer will participate in the Banking Convention that takes place in the Diamond area.
